Trade fairs are exempt from the ban on major events in Germany, which was extended on 17 June 2020 until the end of October 2020.
Although the federal government has proposed a ban on organizing major cultural and sporting events with more than 5,000 participants until August 31, Berlin has decided to suspend them until October 24 to prevent another wave of Coronaviruses. However, this prohibition does not apply to trade fairs.
